The Vortex API provides comprehensive checkout support, facilitating secure and efficient transactions for a wide range of sales scenarios. This includes advanced data handling for Level 2 and Level 3 processing, support for Mail Order/Telephone Order (MOTO), E-commerce, recurring payments, and the anticipated integration of EBT transactions.

Secure L2 and Secure L3 Processing

• Level 2 (L2) Processing: Supports transactions where additional data beyond the standard payment information is captured, typically for business-to-business (B2B) transactions. This includes capturing customer codes, tax amounts, and merchant postal codes, which can qualify transactions for lower interchange rates.
• Level 3 (L3) Processing: Involves capturing even more detailed data for B2B transactions, such as item product codes, quantities, and unit prices. This detailed data capturing facilitates even lower interchange rates and is particularly beneficial for large-scale merchants and government transactions.

Payments & Flags

• Flagging: Vortex allows merchants to flag transactions with specific data attributes, enabling detailed reporting, customized processing rules, and enhanced fraud prevention.
